Ooey Gooey Double Chocolate Pie

The very first cruise I went on was with Carnival to Catalina Islands and Ensenada- this sparked my love for cruises! I loved it mainly because of the unlimited food 😉 Every night we would get their famous molten chocolate lava cake with a side of vanilla ice cream. And holy cow, we’d finish one and ask for another, and another, because it was so good! This recipe is just like a lava cake but pie form! This gooey pie is denser than a lava cake, but has a smooth texture and rich delicious taste!! Ingredients for crust 1-1/2 cup … Continue reading Ooey Gooey Double Chocolate Pie

I think eating homemade baked corn chips are way better, … Continue reading Baked Corn Tortilla Chips

No Bake Cookies

Anyone have an obsession with peanut butter? In college I ate a full jar of Adams chunky peanut butter with a side of apples… in one sitting!! I think my peanut butter obsession comes from my favorite childhood cookies- no bakes! My mom would always make these when my family wanted something sweet and quick! The melt in you mouth tastiness of sweet chocolate and peanut butter with oats, makes these cookies oh so desireable. Other than the yummy taste, the best part of this recipe is the simplicity of ingredients- you probably have all the ingredients on hand! It … Continue reading No Bake Cookies

Spring Rolls with chicken & vegetables

I learned how to make spring rolls at a church activity, and it was probably one of my favorite activities, because it involved making and eating food! The woman who taught us is originally from Taiwan, and has been teaching a variety of delicious meals such as this, at Orson and Gygi in downtown Salt Lake City. I’ve made a few changes to the original recipe, but hands down the credit goes to Meiling for creating an easy and delectable dinner! Ingredients 20-25 spring/egg roll wraps 2 chicken breast, cut into small strips 2 Tbsp white cooking wine or chicken … Continue reading Spring Rolls with chicken & vegetables
